No lesson will be reserved until The House That Rocks receives the registration form, registration fee, and the first month’s tuition.
Registration is open at any time, and you may start in the middle of the month (depending on teachers' availability).
You may schedule a class at any time of the month. If you start in the middle of a month, your tuition will be prorated at $43 per class, and then your monthly tuition will start on the 1st of the next month.
REGISTRATION FEE: A non-refundable registration fee of $30 per student will be due at the time of registration. This fee is to be paid annually at the start of each academic year.
TUITION: Tuition is due no later than the 1st of each month. Tuition will be automatically drafted from the payment method you used to sign up.
Jam Band, Jam Night, Master Classes, and all other special classes will be billed to you
PAYMENT TYPES: We accept all major credit cards and cash.
If you are paying your tuition with cash or credit card, please see the receptionist, who will receive your payment and provide a receipt.
AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS: All payments will be made on the 1st of each month. Scheduling automatic payments is encouraged, as this often helps to avoid a $25 late fee.
SPECIAL CLASSES: All fees for any extra classes, such as jam band, jam night, and master classes, will be announced at the time of registration for that class.
NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS FEE: A $35.00 NSF fee will be charged for any returned checks or automatic payments.
ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE time: All students are expected to arrive on time so that each lesson may begin as scheduled. If you are late, your lesson will be shortened.
SUPERVISION: Teachers are unable to supervise students before or after their scheduled class. ABSENCE: There are no refunds or make-ups for missed lessons.
However, if a teacher is unable to make it to their lesson, The House That Rocks reserves all rights to provide a qualified substitute teacher.
If a teacher is ill and the school cannot arrange a substitute, any missed classes will be made up. We do not make up classes missed due to federal holidays or inclement weather.
INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: All inclement weather cancellations will be posted on our website and posted on our social media sites, including the school’s voicemail. There are No-Make-up classes for inclement weather-related closures.
EARLY CANCELLATION: There are no contracts with The House That Rocks; however, we do require a 30-day notice to discontinue any classes. Failure to provide such notice will result in full tuition being charged for the following month, and any tuition already paid will be forfeited.
Withdrawals must be submitted to The House That Rocks in person or by writing (email is acceptable), and all notices must be submitted to the front desk receptionist.
MEDIA: All photographs of registered students taken during class time and at The House That Rocks events will be considered the property of THTR and may be used for promotional publication and for public use.
LIABILITY: Any attendees of The House That Rocks events, classes, or programs, including students, parents, and legal guardians, hereby waive all claims of liability against The House That Rocks and its teachers and staff.
